So, completed a portrait class today that I was enrolled in at LA Academy of Figurative Arts. The teacher was fantastic and I picked up so much useful technique, materials, and approaches. All of the students enrolled were talented, capable artists, which made for an exciting environment. It was great to be in my tribe once again. There were young students seeking degrees in fine art, as well as a retired illustrator, among others. Below is some of the last piece I completed. This was 20 hours working from a live model.
